About me
I am a PhD Candidate in the Philosophy Department at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Before coming here, I studied philosophy and neuroscience at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. I grew up in Salem, MA.
I’m interested in the intersections between philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, and neuroscience. My research is broadly motivated by questions concerning explanation and ontology in cognitive science, and the uses of models to help us understand and explain the mind.
I am advised by Liz Camp, and my other committee members are Frankie Egan, Paul Pietroski, Susanna Schellenberg, and Carl Craver.
